10/66 India recruited elderly adults from Kandhanchavadi, Perungudi, Thoraipakkam, Palavakkam, and Kottivakkam in south Chennai, India. Participants were at least 65 years old and able to give informed consent. This resulted in a baseline cohort of over 2,000 participants of varying socioeconomic, educational, marital and occupational backgrounds.
