Who are we?

We collect or use the following information for the operation of user accounts:

What is our 'legal basis for processing'?

Data protection legislation allows us to use your personal information in this way because you have actively given us your permission (or 'consent'). All of your data protection rights apply. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account or by contacting atlaslongitudinaldata@kcl.ac.uk.

Do you have to provide your personal information and what are the consequences of not doing so?

You must provide the personal information requested in order to create an account on the Atlas of Longitudinal Datasets. Creating an account on the Atlas allows you to save your favourite datasets, search results and comparisons. If you do not provide your information, you will still be able to browse the Atlas, but you will not be able to create an account or access these enhanced features.

How long do we keep your information for?

We will keep your information until you delete your account. This allows us to ensure that you have access to your account without losing your saved datasets, searches and comparisons.

Do we share your information with other organisations?

We will not share your information with any external organisations. On rare occasions, we may be required or permitted to share personal information by law (e.g for law enforcement purposes).
