The 10K study is a long-term observational study investigating the common causes of morbidity and premature mortality in the Israeli population. The sample is comprises of participants between the ages of 40 and 70 years. The mean age of the baseline sample was 51.50 years, and 7 % of participants had an additional family member participating in the study. By 2020, 10K had recruited over 4,500 participants and collected almost 37,000 biological samples. The study aims to reach 10,000 participants and follow them up for 25 years.
