The 2001 Cohort of the Longitudinal Survey of Newborns in the 21st Century is a nationally representative study of 47,015 infants born in Japan. The baseline sample comprises 51.9% males and 48.1% females, including 1,037 twins and 29 triplets. The study collects data on various socio-demographic factors and follows the children annually to track their growth and development, providing insights into child development in Japan.
