Sample details

TwinsUK is the United Kingdom’s largest and the world’s most clinically detailed adult twin registry with participants from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The registry started in 1992 with an initial aim to investigate the aetiology of complex disease and the ageing process in several hundred identical twins. The registry has since expanded its focus and now includes over 16,000 identical and non-identical twins between the ages of 18 and 100 years.
