BACK
Sample details

This study evaluated college students’ displayed marijuana references on Facebook and their association with self-reported marijuana use. The study included two state universities in the United States, one in the Northwest and one in the Midwest. Incoming students were recruited in 2011 from the registrar's lists at both universities, prior to starting college. The cohort participants were between the ages of 17 and 19 years, all owned a Facebook profile, and had enrolled as full-time first-year students at a study-related university.
