Sample details

The study follows participants from an original study of 1,011 school children and their caregivers in Kabul, Bamyan, and Mazar-e-Sharif municipalities in Afghanistan. The children at baseline were between 11 and 16 years old, half male and half female, and 364 were based in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The follow up was only carried out in Kabul, due to insecurity and logistical constraints, on 234 students and their caregivers.
