The AID:A study provides information on children, adolescents, young adults, and their families living in Germany. In this standardized survey, children, adolescents, young adults, and parents of minors are asked about their everyday living conditions and experiences in around 6,000 households nationwide. Participants were recruited partly from the existing cohorts of the Youth Survey, the Children's Panel, and the Childcare Study.
