This study aimed to evaluate the effects of air pollution, noise, and access to blue and green spaces on premature all-cause mortality in Barcelona, Spain. The study recruited almost 800,000 adults who were registered in the Sistema d’Informació pel Desenvolupament de la Investigació en Atenció Primària (SIDIAP), a computerised medical record in Spain, as of 1 January 2010, and were living in the city of Barcelona. Participants were followed up until the end of 2014 or until death.
