The AMC study consists of multiple linked datasets for a cohort of over 170,000 active and retired light and specialty metalworkers across the United States of America (USA). The cohort includes company data for all workers employed between 1996 and 2013 across Alcoa Corporation facilities in the USA. AMC is also linked to several external datasets, including the 1940 census, national Death index, and Internal Revenue Service.
