The AMORIS cohort comprises over 800,000 individuals living in Sweden, mainly from Stockholm County, with data from routine health check-ups and outpatient laboratory testing. Data collection began in 1985, and the cohort represents a diverse socioeconomic spectrum, including both white and blue-collar workers. Individuals in the cohort were either healthy individuals undergoing routine yearly health check-ups through occupational health care, or outpatients referred for laboratory testing. The cohort consists of 49% men and 51% women.
