The APDC records all admitted patient services provided by public hospitals, public psychiatric hospitals, public multi-purpose services, private hospitals, and private day procedure centres across the Australian state of New South Wales. It contains dates of admissions and separations for each episode of care, up to 50 diagnoses relevant to each episode of care, the source of referral, separation mode, and procedures based on the ICD-10 Australian version.
