Sample details

The Arg-ADNI was established to advance Alzheimer's research in Latin America. Its primary aim is to validate and develop biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease, facilitating early detection, tracking, and understanding of the disease. This study is part of the World Wide Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (WW-ADNI), an umbrella organisation for similar neuroimaging initiatives. At baseline, 56 participants were recruited at the Institute for Neurological Research at Fleni and underwent a baseline assessment in 2012 and follow-ups at 12, 30, and 60 months.
