Sample details

The participants of the ASD-ER cohort were recruited from the ECHO consortium. The majority of participants (n= 1,281) are younger siblings of children with autism, and some participants (n= 432) do not have a sibling with autism. All participants have been followed up into early adulthood through the second phase of the project: Trajectories and Environments in Autism: a Multi-cohort Study (TEAMS), and donated their baby teeth to the study. There are five sites across the United States of America to carry out this project.
