Sample details

ATPG3 began in 2012 and follows the social and emotional development of third generation offspring born to parents participating in the original ATP cohort, which commenced in 1983 with a sample of over 2,000 children (Generation 2) and their parents (Generation 1) from Victoria, Australia. The ATPG3 cohort (Generation 3) includes 1,167 offspring who were born to 703 Generation 2 parents between 2012 and 2018, when the parents were aged between 29 and 35 years old. The Generation 3 children and their parents have been followed-up during pregnancy, when the baby was born, and then at 8 weeks, 1, 4, and 9 years of age, with plans for continued follow-ups.
