Australian Diabetes, Obesity and Lifestyle Study (AusDiab)
The AusDiab examined the natural history of diabetes, pre-diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease in Australia over 12 years. The baseline study was conducted between 1999 and 2000 with over 11,000 participants aged 25 years and above. Participants were followed up after five and 12 years.
