ATP is a longitudinal study of social and emotional development that began in 1983 with a cohort of 2,443 families with infants aged between 4 and 8 months old from across the state of Victoria, Australia. Parents (Generation 1) and their offspring (Generation 2) have been followed-up for over 40 years; tracking the children from infancy, through childhood, and into adolescence and adulthood.
