The AWCS examined the working conditions in the American workplace. Participants were adults aged 18 to 71 years from the United States of America, who participated in the RAND American Life Panel (ALP). The baseline was conducted from July to October 2015 (Wave 1) on over 3,000 participants, and follow-up surveys were conducted from December 2015 to February 2016 (Wave 2), six months and one year after baseline (Wave 3 and Wave 4), and from July to September 2018 (Wave 5). The sampling frame for the Wave 5 survey was restricted to only those who responded to the baseline survey.
