The BABY study examines emotion dysregulation across two generations by enrolling pregnant women and following them and their children for 18 months. Pregnant women were approached by research assistants for recruitment during prenatal care appointments at obstetrics and gynecology clinics affiliated with the University of Utah, United States of America. Data collection occurs at four time points: during the third trimester of pregnancy (T1), at birth (T2), when the infant is 7 months old (T3), and 18 months old (T4). Recruitment began in January 2016.
