Sample details

The BackWorks study aimed to determine the relationships between self-reported low back pain (LBP) ratings and use of opioid medications. Approximately 800 workers were recruited from 30 different employment settings via open recruitment meetings. Baseline assessments were conducted between 2003 and 2006, with participants being followed up monthly until 2012, when the study was finalised.
