The BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Mental Health Project began in 2018, aiming to investigate whether there was a disproportionate representation of BAME people diagnosed and under the care of Mental Health Services, and service provision for the BAME community in London, England (United Kingdom). The project collated data from West London National Health Service (NHS) Trust (the main provider of mental health services in three west London boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow), as well as data from Hammersmith & Fulham GP Federation, Social Care data, and the study team's survey of the sector.
