BMC Optymise is an observational cohort study, tracking a range of risk outcomes longitudinally in young individuals who sought mental health care at BMC’s youth mental health clinics in the Sydney suburbs of Camperdown and Campbelltown in Australia. The cohort consists of 6,743 individuals aged 12-30 years who presented to these clinics and were recruited to a research register between 2008 and 2018. The register contains clinical data, routinely collected as part of the standard care at these clinics.
