Sample details

The Brazil SisRHC database is a nationwide hospital-based cancer registry system developed by the National Cancer Institute of Brazil (INCA). It allows hospitals to record and validate cancer cases, including patient information and tumour characteristics, which are then consolidated into a centralised database. Together, these systems form "RHC Brasil" (Registros Hospitalares de Câncer Brasil), providing standardised and high-quality data to support cancer research in prevention, screening, treatment, survival, and palliative care. The data stored in the SisRHC database comprises patient information, diagnoses, tumor staging, information, morphology findings, cell differentiation, and surgical procedures.
