Sample details

The BUTP is the first phase of two projects that study early child temperament and related behaviors. This phase focused primarily on activity level and comprised of over 300 same-sex twin pairs assessed at ages 2 and 3. Of the twin pairs, 144 monozygotic and 168 dizygotic twins participated in the age 2 assessments, and 141 monozygotic and 163 dizygotic twins returned for the age 3 assessments. Twins were assessed again in adolescence through the BUTP Adolescent Follow-Up Online Study.
