Sample details

The BUTP II is the second phase of two projects that study early child temperament and related behaviors. This phase has a broader focus and involves a new preschool sample longitudinally assessed at ages 3, 4 and 5 years. Of the 310 pairs of twins who participated in the age 3 laboratory assessments, 286 pairs were assessed again at age 4 and 274 pairs at age 5. All twins within a pair were the same sex and the sample was predominantly Caucasian.
