Sample details

C-MACH follows a cohort of over 400 pregnant women with a mean age of 32.5 years, recruited at less than 13 weeks gestation. The study consists of three hospital-based cohorts in Japan, with the hospitals located in the Chiba and Saitama prefectures. Recruitment took place from February 2014 to June 2015, with information regarding the study available on notice boards at the hospitals, on the study website, and through research coordinators or a doctor. Data has also been collected from mothers' partners and the children, including biosamples from both groups.
