California Birth Cohort, 1999 - 2017
The California Birth Cohort consists of linked administrative data from over 500,000 children born in California during 1999 and followed prospectively from birth until age 18 in 2017. Vital birth and death records for the cohort have been linked to children's interactions with the state child protection system between 1999 and 2017.
