The California Teachers Study (CTS) is a prospective cohort study of approximately 133,500 current and former public school teachers or administrators who participated in the California State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) in 1995-1996. The cohort has been followed up via questionnaires (six by 2019), surveys and biological samples for CTS sub-projects, and linkage data.
