Sample details

CALM aims to investigate the underlying mechanisms of cognitive developmental disorders in children. Beginning in September 2014, children from South-East England (United Kingdom), aged 5 to 18 years, who were referred to the Cambridge Centre for Attention, Learning and Memory, were recruited into the study and assessed. Beginning in 2018, children aged 5 to 18 years were recruited from schools attended by existing CALM participants as control participants. Over 1,000 children completed the baseline data collection between 2014 and 2018. Participants were followed up with between 2019 and 2022 for the second round of assessment and data collection.
