The CBBMR is a biobank collecting tissues and liquid samples from patients at the University Hospital of Marburg. Individuals include those diagnosed with cancer, chronic inflammation and degenerative diseases, with data also collected from healthy volunteers to support comparative research. In doing so, the biobank aims to establish a central collection of biomaterials for various research projects in improving disease detection, prevention and treatment strategies.
