Copenhagen General Population Study (CGPS)
The CGPS aims to investigate the epidemiology of various diseases by examining health and lifestyle factors. Beginning in 2003 with over 46,000 participants, the study now includes over 170,000 participants from the Copenhagen metropolitan area. Participants are followed up annually through linkage to the Danish Civil Registration System and medical records to examine long-term health outcomes.
