Sample details

The COPE study is a cohort study involving 130 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) recruited from the Greater London area in the United Kingdom. Participants were recruited between May 2015 and October 2017 through general practices and the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), with training provided by research physiotherapists. Participants were followed up daily for up to six months, using diary cards and portable monitors to record respiratory symptoms and environmental exposures.
