Sample details

The ChiBPS cohort study aims to describe the course and outcome of musculoskeletal (MSK) pain and identify candidate prognostic factors for long-term MSK pain. The cohort includes 100 individuals aged between 8 and 19 years old with self-reported MSK pain, recruited from 17 GP clinics across Denmark from 2018 to 2020. Participants were assessed at baseline, 3, 6, and 12 months. The study plans to follow participants continuously every 1 to 5 years.
