BACK
Sample details

The sample is a general community sample of adolescents, derived from standard health screenings of the Youth Health Care Divisions (YHCD) in Southern South-Limburg, the Netherlands. Two waves of Regional Profiles of Youth health (RPY) data were collected: adolescents attending second grade of secondary school (age 13-14 years) were questioned at the beginning of the study, and 2 years later when they were in fourth grade (age 15-16 years). The sample consisted of 1,129 participants: 526 boys (46.6%) and 603 girls (53.4%).
