The Children’s Eyewitness Reports after Exposure to Misinformation from Parents study aimed to examine how misleading suggestions from parents influenced children's recollection of events. Participants included over 100 children between the ages of 3 and 8 recruited from 14 small towns in Michigan, United States of America. The study involved three sessions: the first session began in 1994, the second was conducted 3.5 months later, and the final was 4.5 months after the initial session.
