CMR is a population-based mammography registry that aims to improve the performance of mammography, understand factors affecting the detection of breast cancer, and provide feedback to radiologists. It partners with breast imaging facilities across North Carolina (United States of America), collecting breast imaging and associated cancer follow-up data. The registry began in 1994 and has since collaborated with over 50 practices, with records for over 860,000 women. Cancer outcomes are determined through linkage.
