CNAP aimed to examine cancer incidence and identify risk factors among families engaged in agricultural activities in Norway. The study recruited adult farm holders and their spouses, comprising 137,000 male and 111,000 female adults born between 1924 and 1971. Additionally, the study included 323,000 children of these participants. Data were obtained from censuses conducted in 1969, 1974, 1979, 1985, and 1989, and meteorological data were obtained for 1973 to 1990. Data were also obtained through linkage with the Norwegian Cancer Registry in 2011 and the Norwegian Medical Birth Registry in 1991.
