The Co-Re project investigates the impact of challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic on the wellbeing and mental health of National Health Service (NHS) staff in the United Kingdom. Participants were aged 18 or over, employed by the NHS, and working in a clinical setting in a role involving direct patient contact. Participants were asked to complete a 30-minute online survey and could also opt-in to complete follow-up surveys after 4, 8, and 12 months. A subset of participants also completed a shorter version of the survey two weeks after the completion of the initial survey. Additionally, a subset of participants were also invited to take part in qualitative interviews over the phone or video.
