Co-SPYCE was designed to track preschool children's mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on young people from vulnerable groups such as those from low-income households, those with pre-existing mental or physical health difficulties, and those in care. Participants include individuals over the age of 18 who were parents or carers of a preschool-aged child and lived in the United Kingdom. Among the sample, almost all respondents were biological parents (over 99%), over 94% were female, and 92% of the sample identified as white.
