Sample details

The CoDiP study was conducted in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and investigated how individual personality development is related to the development of a close dyadic partner in inter- and intra-generational relationships across the life span. The CoDiP study generated a comprehensive three-generational longitudinal data pool across four years that includes data of family members in young, middle-aged, and older adulthood. In total, questionnaire data on 1,050 participants from urban, suburban, or rural regions of German-speaking Switzerland were collected, of which 711 (68%) reported being in a romantic relationship at the time.
