Cohort study of tuberculosis complicated with lung cancer

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between risk factors and lung cancer in patients diagnosed with tuberculosis, further exploring the pathogenic mechanism of tuberculosis complicated by lung cancer. Approximately 9,000 tuberculosis patients over 15 years of age were recruited from the Chest Hospital of Beijing and Xinxiang in China, including 159 patients with lung cancer. The study was conducted between 2017 and 2018 and included a five-year retrospective case review of patients.
