Sample details

The Community Health Study (CHS) is a population health survey involving Singapore citizens living in public housing in Bukit Panjang (aged 40 and above) and Queenstown (aged 21 and above). It aims to identify residents’ health needs, assess participation rates in healthcare services, and examine how lifestyle factors influence the development of chronic diseases. Data and samples have been collected at two time points in each area: baseline (2015–2016, CHS_T1) with approximately 7,000 total residents and follow-up (2018–2021, CHS_T2) with approximately 3,000 total residents. A second follow-up (CHS_T3) is currently underway.
