Sample details

This study aimed to analyse the impact of climate shocks on household well-being, children's health, and economic mobility. It included 1,768 households from Zavkhan, Govi-Altai, and Uvs provinces in western Mongolia. Households were recruited in 2012 using a multi-stage sampling design based on the 2010 Population and Housing Census to ensure representativeness of the population in these regions. Households were followed up every 12 months over a period of three years, with data collection waves occurring in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
