The COSECHA study was a youth participatory action project conducted from 2016 to 2018 to investigate concerns surrounding teen girls' exposures to pesticides associated with hormone-disrupting and/or carcinogenic effects. The study included 100 girls aged 14 to 16 living in Salinas Valley, California, United States of America, who participated in the CHAMACOS longitudinal cohort study. Participants were selected in the summer of 2016 from those participating in the CHAMACOS cohort at age 14 and living in Monterey or San Benito Counties.
