The COVID-19 Social Study was designed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to track, in real time, the psychological and social impacts of the virus on residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over. The study involved a multifaceted recruitment strategy, focusing on groups that were anticipated to be underrepresented. Over the two years of the study, over 70,000 participants completed more than 1.2 million surveys.
