The CPC cohort aimed to identify factors influencing early developmental milestones in children, involving 4,009 newborns recruited from Copenhagen University hospital between 1959 and 1961. Specifically, participants included, 2,047 males and 1,962 females, with data gathered from mothers during pregnancy and at 1 and 3 year follow-ups, evaluating the attainment of developmental milestones.
