BACK
Sample details

CRISPS was initiated to generate a comprehensive database regarding the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors in Hong Kong (HK) Chinese, followed by cohort studies with detailed dietary and biochemical data, to facilitate the development of appropriate population-wide coronary heart disease (CHD) prevention strategies and to monitor their long-term impacts. To establish a database of cardiovascular risk factors based on a representative sample of the HK Chinese population, 10 age-sex specific groups were recruited for blood sampling and anthropometric measurements.
