Sample details

The CRONICAS cohort study aims to investigate the impact of geographical variation on non-communicable diseases by examining participants' cardiovascular and chronic pulmonary diseases. The study began in 2010 and included over 3,500 participants from three settings in Peru, including Pampas de San Juan de Miraflores, Tumbes, and Puno. Participants were followed up at different intervals, with baseline assessments conducted between 2010 and 2012, a follow-up evaluation from 2013 to 2014, and the last evaluation conducted in 2018.
