This study aims to investigate the influence of religious practices on the risks for various chronic diseases by assessing health outcomes among religious community members. The study included over 6,500 members from the Seventh-day Adventist Church and over 3,500 from the Baptist Church in Denmark. Participants were assessed retrospectively through linkage to various databases and registries and can be continuously followed up through these linkages to monitor long-term health outcomes.
