Sample details

This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of Internet-based recruitment and follow-up of women planning pregnancies by examining their health and lifestyle factors. Beginning in 2007, the study initially included over 2,500 female participants between the ages of 18 and 40 who were planning to conceive. Participants were contacted for follow-up bimonthly for 12 months or until conception, with participants followed up one more time once they had conceived. The study was completed in 2010 with over 3,500 women participating.
